The "Noise-Jet"

Work on the Noise-Jet has resumed! This project has been put on "hold" for
a very long time (like a year and a half!) while some other projects were
completed. It's now back on the front-burner, and hopefully will be finished
in the next few months. The component layout, artwork for the box, and wiring are
just about figured out. Above is the current state of the artwork, as of 6/3/08.
Below is a previous version, as initially conceived in brown...

Made a "preliminary run" test VIDEO to show the range of sounds possible.

This one started out as the small blue toy by "TOMY". It simulates the sound of a jet
taking off. As you hold the button down, the jet sound increases in pitch and volume.
I've been able to find a way to wire in 7 potentiometers and a few capacitors to produce
a good variety of noise. Below is my current idea for a case - a black cigar box and some
old black knobs. Switches, LEDs and output jacks will be included as well. Some type of
needle indicator(s) would be fun... hmmmmm...
